Foundation strategies
Because all soils are wet and cool and concrete wicks water, all foundations need effective water, air and heat flow management strategies. Pests and soil gases are an issue, too. In this session, we will share state-of-the-art strategies for a variety of foundation systems (including full basements, crawlspaces and frost-protected shallow foundation systems) to help maintain a dry comfortable home.
