Waves of public concern have spawned a lucrative mold abatement industry that has fleeced the public and the insurance companies for big bucks. Ridiculous diagnoses and expensive and often ineffective repairs have been the result. This session will take a building science approach. Case studies will demonstrate some common indoor mold problems and dos and don’ts in dealing with them, safely, effectively and affordably.
