This session will showcase solar energy for homes in Wisconsin, and make the case that now is the time for builders, contractors and the public to take a new look at solar. The cost of installed solar has declined more than 70% in the past decade, and 600 toi 1,000 homes annually are getting solar electric systems in Wisconsin. When incorporated during new construction, the cost can be even lower, and can be financed with the mortgage. We will de-mystify state rebates and federal tax credits that help reduce up-front expenses.
