Developing work orders that meet multiple expectations

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Call it a work order, punch list or materials list. What is the information needed to successfully complete a project, including budget concerns? For the crew, the work order needs to itemize all materials to ensure that job tasks can be completed. For a contractor, the work order may only be a list of job tasks to complete. For an accountant, the work order may need to itemize actual materials used and the time spent to complete job tasks. Several work order examples will be presented with a discussion of what should be included; pitfalls of including estimates; and ease of creating a work order that helps the crew.
