With the aid of construction detail drawings and site images of past and current projects, this session will show that building with ICFs is just as cost effective as wood construction but with higher benefits. It will also show that ICF construction can meet or exceed minimum state requirements for energy code compliance. We’ll look at actual construction costs of a recently completed home and show how ICFs can compete with wood framing.
